I’ve participated in the extensive growth and popularity of this category since my early years at UK-based Tiger Tim Products Limited in the early 80’s. I emigrated to Canada in 2013 from my home in Wales, UK and set up A+A Price Sales and Marketing Inc. with the mission of developing the North American Retail market for these great Firestarters.

With the growing popularity of backyard grilling combined with our customer base becoming progressively more environmentally conscious, this is a category primed for growth. The COVID-19 pandemic only accelerated demand that we anticipate will not recede significantly as the world gets back to normal.

This site is oriented primarily to the retail market, to our customers who are retail distributors of these raw products: 100% natural wooden “Haybale, Tangled, Twisted,“ Firestarters. 100% natural wood-wax firestarters – packaged in two forms, as pre-cut cubes or pre-scored tablet. Odorless Compressed HGL Firestarters – Individually Wrapped (Packaged in both Standard size & half-size “Minis”) a flattened poly four-sided sealed sachet which is poured then sold as a solid cube firestarter in a sealed blister-pack that the customer simply “pops-out.”
