A+A Price, in conjunction with manufacturer Tiger Tim Products based in Wales UK, is an importer of   Firestarters produced with GTLPS ( Gas to Liquid ) Odorless Paraffinic fuel into the North American market. These Firestarters come in a solid form, making them a safe product to use that can be found in the recreational Firestarter market today. They have lower VOC-emissions ( low sulphur & aromatics ) and a higher flashpoint ( > 70 °C / > 158°F) making them very stable to use and store.

Kerosene & Paraffin are terms often used interchangeably but are not identical chemically. Paraffin is distilled and refined from odorless kerosene, making it a cleaner burn – a far more attractive choice for consumer, recreational use. When it comes to outdoor grilling and the quality of your food, fuel ignited with our odorless Firestarters are de rigueur du jour. Foods not polluted with the chemical smell of traditional lighter fluid cannot compare for flavor and taste.

This product is sold in 3 different types of packaging: Individually wrapped in paper, clear sachets, and blister-pack pop-out cubes. When igniting a fire, whether it be barbecue grill, campfire / bonfire, fire-pit, stove, or fireplace, one simply places 2-3 individual units strategically among your charcoal or wood and light the corners. You should be able to achieve a solid burn-time of 8-10 minutes at above 240°C /464°F.

We’ve also manufactured an Odorless gel, packaged in a Polyurethane bottle with a child-proof cap. The customer simply squirts a stream of gel on the fuel and sets a match or lighter to it.

These Firestarters are the answer to some relatively newer market realities and necessities, such as restrictions on the sale and use of traditional butane lighter fluid due to safety concerns, as well as the ongoing quest for affordable, cleaner energy burned from fossil fuels. Judging from the growth of this category in European markets, they are certainly popular with consumers.

Simply put, traditional lighter fluid cannot compete with Odorless Paraffin Firestarters for safety, flavor, and price.
